Head on over to the Contact page to request a free quote for your next web site project. Be sure to give a clear description of the web site's purpose, the approximate number of pages, and any special features you can envision.
- Research. I will conduct research to determine what similiar sites offer in terms of features, usability, and content.
- Project Plan. The next step is to create a list of your specific requirements, such as the web address (URL), number of pages, image galleries, storefront options, etc.
- Content. I ask that my clients have as much of their content (page text, pictures, contact info, etc.) ready as soon as possible, as this can help determine the structure and layout of much of the site. I can also offer on-site photography if requested.
- Prototype. At this point I should have everything I need to create a digital mock-up of the look and feel your site may ultimately have.
- Development. The development stage is usually a period of one or two weeks where I'm hard at work building the skeleton of the site, incorporating some of the features, and filling in the available content. We will certainly be in touch during this time to make you aware of my progress and to address any concerns that either of us might have.
- Polishing. By now you should be able to visit your site by going to your WWW address. I will finish up any last details of the site and fill in any content that might be missing, as well as optimizing the site for indexing by popular search engines such as Google, MSN, and Yahoo.
- Maintainence. Enroll in a maintainence plan where small changes or additions (more content, more photos, fixing typos) may be made at no additional charge during the term of the plan.
- Enjoy! The site is now yours! Contact me with any changes or concerns you may have, and keep my info ready for your next design project!
